School Groups
School or church groups are most welcome at Lakeview Farms during our berry
and pumpkin seasons. If you are coming with a relatively small group
( less than 9) and do not require a tour, there is no advance preparation needed. An
excellent source of information and materials for a preschool teacher planning
on visiting a pumpkin patch is The

To insure safety and my availability to conduct a 15 to 30 minute farm tour,
we require that larger (greater than 10 children ) school groups schedule
a visit. You may either reach me by phone or e-mail lakeviewfarms@att.net
My name is Carl ( "Farmer Carl"). The normal cost is
$2.50 for each child (adults are free) and each child gets to pick 1 pint of
strawberries, or ½ pint of raspberries or $2.50 worth of pumpkins/gourds
depending upon the season. During the pumpkin season the small pie
pumpkins, Spooktacular or Mystic Plus are
a particular favorite of the preschool children since this a very convenient
size for them to carry.
